Hey gbnc, Thanks for information. I see some other posts about Nepalis seeking asylum which were helpful as well. Since I don't think Mrs. Magar has any specific reason way in which she is being persecuted in Nepal, I think being granted asylum is unlikely. If that is unlikely, then it would be a waste of money for the flight for her to come to the U.S. on a tourist visa. Thoughts?
