smoking...at our own risk?

I learned to smoke... well not really learned, I was forced by a bully cousin to smoke. He got this habit from somewhere and wanted to make sure he is not alone. So he forced some five of his cousins under his rein to test smoke. I was one of the victims. "Asha" churot was our major brand. But we smoked "Ganesh Bidi" too depending on the situation of supply. I do remember buying "Yak" and smoking to impress a girl I was crazy about. So, in my case, it was not the plain smoking but the class of cigarette that I used for the purpose of impressing. Although it did not work, there was no reason for me to quit smoking. There was a particular occasion I was terribly disgusted with smoking and actually quit smoking for several weeks. It was a Health Exhibition we went to from our school. Among the things exhibited was a specimen of a lung from a man died of cancer. It was a horrible thing to see for me. I could not bring myself to smoke, well, until the image of that sick lung faded away. I have been a light smoker throughout my smoking life, smoking 3-5 cigarettes a day. So I did not view my habit as terribly harmful. Nevertheless, I experimented, like every smoker does, with quitting on my own several times without success. I did not take these failures seriously. I mean they really did not erode my confidence and faith in my own will power. There were many other things I did in my life to prove my will power to myself. So it was safe. I just regarded my failure to quit smoking as lack of my seriousness to quit. Whether I made myself to believe so or was really the case might be a matter for psychologists to resolve. That said, I quit smoking about a decade ago pretty easily and in an innovative way. I keep joking that I should be patenting my method. Since it's of a patenting value, I am not going to reveal it here. I will only say that the method works like a charm and is really full-proof to those who have certain ingredient required. And almost everybody has this ingredient. So I think it should work for almost everybody. Let me give you a hint. It involves what would amount to emotional manipulation of yourself. It's pretty easy and harmless. In fact you will feel your emotional empowerment and moral boost in every stage of the application of this method. Interested ? Only serious bidders please. Nepe
