take good lawyer. i dont think u can stay in two status. once u file ur assylum and get new alien number, ur status shud change but again i am not a lawyer. so consult with some good attorney. one more thing, since u are filling asylum, i dont think u can go back to nepal. again talk to ur lawyer.
