Khabrdar -- No, I didn't know that the legendary OP Nayyar had passed away. That's very sad indeed. "Chain se humko kabhi" is one of Asha's finest songs and I believe she even won accolades for it. Here are 2 other of my fave Asha "melancholy strains"! I heard that Asha Bhosle broke down in tears while singing the above song -- Ab ke baras bhej bhaiyya ko babul" from "Bandini" -- the one movie where the formidable Nutan's perfomance has solidified her status as one of the most powerful actresses of her time. Another one from the same movie, a catchy tune but profound lyrics: TM - I'm a huge fan of Wordsworth, Keats, Byron and Shelley. :-) Cleopatra - "Koi ye kaise bataye ke woh tanha kyu hai" is definitely a winner. I just used "Arth" as the keyword. :-)
