Thirteen people had died on the spot while 31 passengers were injured. The bus was heading to Birgunj from Kathmandu when it fell into the Trishuli river in the Prithvi highway. The bus with registration number Na 3 Kha 2141 fell 150 feet into the river near Kurintar, according to reports. The accident occurred at around 1 am midnight at the Daharechowk VDC of Chitwan district.
