To my understanding, the guy was aware of possible problem. He knew that this could happen, but he decided to see the " teenager". Since he drives a four hour driving distance, birngs a candy and flower to the girl, I dont have any point from which I could see him as an innocent person. 'Every body has a right to make stupid choice. This is a part of it. As every body else, I feel sorry for his family back home, who were dreaming his son's bright future.
