He was trained in Maoist camp. I don't know how many Madhesi people he killed before he left the Maoist party. He was a big shot within the Maoist camp, hanging out with Prachanda, Matrika Yadav and Suresh AleMagar in New Delhi, until one fateful day when Matrika and Suresh were arrested along with Upendra. The Fierce One survived, the former duo extradited to Nepal and Upendra was released later. He himself later said that he was released due to the help of Lal Krishna Advani. Well, perhaps due to the same connection, he was later seen hanging out with the Hindu fundamentalists in 'that' famous seminar in India. We all knew that even though Maoists entered the mainstream politics, there would be some hold outs. Well, it turned out in this case, the hold out actually got some issue. But do leaders and people from Terai trust him? Virappana, Pablo Eskebar(sp?) etc all negative characters also had a side job, they espoused some issues of "downtrodden people". The issues would be genuine, but the 'leaders' who espoused those issues were not genuine.Those issues didn't mean any thing to them. The govt would also be happy with these people: they can make some sort of deal. Almost similar thing happened to Subash Ghising, who now lives like a king in Darjeeling and Calcutta.
