which state are you in? in each state there are many desi consultancy and in each desi consultancy, you will find at least one nepali . try net fishing. there are lots of thread regarding these issue here in sajha. where ever you go, plz don't tell them that you are naive to IT. try to be bit smart and ask like 1. what is rate (usually starting is 60-65K/year) 2. what are benifits(paid vacation/insurence/etc) 3. do you pay during bench (bench is a period between two project) 4. do you cover air/lodgeing/fooding/car rental/etc when you go to project if so for how long 5. do you do free h1b/GC processing 6. which software are you using for trainning purpose (latest required), is intructor availble most of the time7. do you have interview support (sometime they will attend interview for you) 8. do you have back up support (when you go to project and face difficulty, they provide solution) 9. during trainning how much they pay (usually it is free lodging and fooding) 10. when will they review/increase salary etc etc. Get all in written form. IT is so frendly it absorb everybody. try for BA but you could always open door of other IT field also.
