I'm responding to this message because I am a researcher in HIV/AIDS. 1. Does your friend know for certain that this lady he had sex with is HIV+ or had AIDS? 2. Having sexual intercourse with an HIV+ person DOES NOT necessarily mean you will contract the virus. Like someone said in this thread, there is a 3 month window period after which the virus shows up in your blood-stream. 3. If it is at all possible, and I know it's tough, he should discuss his problem with his wife. Perhaps he can take the help of a professional such as a counselor. 4.
