Indian SSB personnel arrest two Nepali youths from Janakpur By Shyam Sundar Shashi JANAKPUR, Feb 24 - Indian paramilitary -- Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) -- personnel Friday night crossed the border into Nepal and arrested two Nepali youths from Thadi Mijha VDC-5 of Janakpur near the Indian border. According to locals, over a dozen armed SSB personnel arrested and took away Shambhu Ghatwar's son Shyam Ghatwar and Laxamn Pandey's son Sanjaya Pandey to India at around 9:00 Friday night. The villagers, however, were kept in the dark as to what charges the two had been detained. Ghatwar and Pandey are kept at Harlakhi station near the Indo-Nepal border. Of the two, Ghatwar had just completed his SLC while Pandey is a ninth grader. The locals had informed Area Police Post at Khajuri immediately after the SSB made their entry into the village. According to Police Inspector Govinda Jha of the Area Police Post, Khajuri, when he reached the Harlakhi station the same night, Indian Police officials told him the duo had been arrested for the investigation of recent robberies that took place in the Indian territory. source: ekantipur
