oh yeah besides R/3 programming you might want to try getting hold Database too. You can start by using MYSQL, SQL Server or Orcale DB these software can be downloaded for free for individual use. Microsoft and oracle have their own development and management tools again its free for personal use for learning purpose. MYSQL also have PHPMYADMIN tools for management and development, though this will require you to get on hands on and install Apache, PHP, MYSQL and then PHPADMIN. good luck friend.
