When GC holder goes out of USA to get married, there is no provision of dependent visa for his/her spouse to bring her/him legally into the USA. They have to wait 5/6 years to get their citizenship to bring their spouses. GC holders are uniquely disadvantaged in that matter, if they want to sponser their spouses or kids. Two new bill has been introduced in US House of Representatives to help GC holders so they can bring their loved ones with them. The passage of law will benefit all of us (foreigners). So, lets work on it to make our voice heard one way or another.
