I don't have much sympathy with extreme street politics but I wonder how much blame His Majesty should share for making unnecessary and provocative statements. Yeah, foolish behavior of the foolish masses but what about the foolish behavior of the oh-so-sophisticated King? I have said this before and will say it again: few people have contributed to establishing the Republic of Nepal the way King Gyanedra has. This guy seems bent on loosing his throne. With every passing day the chances of the Monarchy surviving are growing slimmer and slimmer. Someone save King Gyanendra from himself!
