let people decide jassus not u and me... not all people are happy about this secular state of being. and we don't know what the number is. nice job trying to portry me as a hindu fundamentalist. i was and i am still merely asking a question. what do the people of nepal think? majority of whom are Hindus. let democracy work in its basic model.. of the people for the people by the people. there is room for hindu-democratic nepal just as there is a scope for secular-democratic nepal. Jaasus what is wrong in letting people decide? why are u afraid of the people? u are definitely not for dictatorship. you just want democracy where u find it convineint. You are propogating a democratic system that refuses to hear the voices of people on certain issues- a discriminatory system. The hindu system does not have to be discriminatory. we can have anti-descrimination law to counter the "hindu" discrimination concerns. the two can coexist. ofcouse, secular system can work as well. But let all sides come front and let the people be the ultimate decider. Netas can make sure system is fair to all. But leave the decision making to the people. how many people, one more time???? how many agree/disagree? I have never proposed discriminations based on caste and religion so let us not go where we have not gone so far. Nepal is already a secular country because of politics, not because of Nepalese themselves. I know ur view point jassus. I am not too sure about the rest of Nepal. Not convinced about 40% either. If nepalese want nepal to be secular. great. i am all up for it. separation of religion and state is great. but if they want nepal to be hindu kingdom, so be it. if all agreed on this secular idea there would be no commotion. the fact that people are discontent is making all this noise. the question is how many people are discontent? that is democracy.. it works in freedom and in numbers. why are u afraid jassus why are u afraid to throw the ball to the peoples' side? why are u hiding behind a legislation that was passed by some? if nepalese want hindu-nation, lets go for it, if secularism is the answer so be it. But people please.. people
