Security guards of two Maoist lawmakers - Dev Gurung and Lokendra Bista - were briefly taken under control by the police while trying to enter the parliament building in Singha Durbar with firearm Thursday afternoon. Police officials stationed for the security of the parliament building spotted a revolver inside the bag of one of the two security guards of the Maoist lawmakers just as they were trying to go inside, reports said. The two were briefly taken under police control but were released after an order from the "high authority". The weapon was returned to the Maoist security guards after negotiation between the Maoist side and the Home Ministry.
