You may ask why Travel Agency. Here is why;
Travel industry pulls in approximately $1.3 trillion annually in the United States and almost $7 trillion worldwide. Economists have identified four principal trends that could mean significant growth in the travel industry.
Trend 1:
Baby boomers - the generation born between 1946 - 1964. They will have huge effect on the travel industry. There are nearly one billion baby boomers worldwide and the first of them are turning 60. These 60-year olds are facing retirement, which occurs at a rate of 1 person per eight seconds for the next 20 years. An what will these newly retired baby boomers do when they retire? Travel, of course.
Trend 2:
The travel industry is growing 23 percent faster than the global economy. With such a growth, a boom is on the horizon. In fact, travel is expected to double to $14 trillion worldwide in the next 10 years.
Trend 3:
The continued growth of Internet e-commerce will sustain online travel sales. Consumers are spending billions on the Internet, and travel is the fastest-growning segment of that trend.
Trend 4:
Statistics show that small and home-based businesses are the fastest-growing segment of the US economy. Home-based travel sellers are fastest-growing segment in the travel agency community. With large and mid-sized companies are downsizing and outsourcing, corporate America offers little promise for job security. That's why people are turning to home based business.
