Extortion in Katmandu – Are Media personals to be blamed?

I have been told by several people that Maoists are all over Katmandu and are extorting money from whomever possible. Lately, single women and old people have been their primary targets as it is easier to threaten and extort money from them. It is also being said that since Maoists can no longer target the rich, they have been oppressing the poor much more by taking away whatever little money those poor people make. They are free to enter any house eat, drink and sleep without the owners consent. (There has not been any storey’s of rape yet, but expert that to be coming soon – attractions from the commies) Media people like Kantipur online do not bring these stories out. Instead they have been publishing the terrorist agenda and have willingly been giving voice to terrorists like Prachandaa. The media has been directly responsible for generating sympathy for the terrorists abroad, resulting in more funds to kill more Nepalis. My question is, what should we do if something happens to our own families? We cannot gun down Prachandaa and Babua ramu battaa as someone here informed us that they are highly protected. So….Should we take our revenge on the media people instead for harboring terrorism? If our families are hurt why shouldn’t we do the same thing to the families of media bosses? Will this be an ethical thing to do? Personally, I have been holding media responsible for all this and in case anything happen to my family, I will not hesitate getting to families of Mr.Hemraj Gywali, Mr.Kailash Sirohiya, Mr.Binod Raj Gywali, Mr.Narayan Wagle, Mr.Prateek Pradhan, Mr. Akhilesh Tripathi and others for doing only half of their duties. I had no problems with the media publishing the terrorist agenda. I believe that information, whether good or bad should come out. However, the media people have been publishing only those storey’s that make them money and have left out the atrocities committed by the terrorists.
