Riten,
Sorry.
I just read my earlier posting.
I meant to reply to "bibas100" (whoever s/he is) and NOT you.
That said, look, posting on Sajha can be like being a fully devoted player of some combat sport. After all, these are NOT discussions taking place in some Senior Common Room with port and sherry
flowing around.
These are hand-to-hand combats, literally.
I have enough seriousness in my 'mainstream' life, but I do welcome this occasional diversion, this charged, electric, bare-knuckle atmosphere of Sajha because I have seen/experienced and understood that if you want to get something done in Nepal, merely being a well-liked but dithering gentleman-idiot will ensure that you accomplish nothing.
You gotta fight the fight; be prepared to make some enemies, and not be deterred by them . . . for doing anything 'worthwhile' in Nepal invites some people to be your enemies. That's the reality.
Since I did NOT grow up getting into
bar-room brawls and street fights and gang wars and all that (I know, my life was/is boring :-( I take Sajha as a quiet vehicle to test the limits of what's possible, what's not and why.
To me, Sajha remains a priceless educational opportunity in human behaviour, and I come back again and again for that excellent education!
I see TRUE faces of people here that I know I'll never see in lives they present
to me in their real lives.
Fortunately, since I use my own name and take FULL responsibility for all my postings, I have nothing to fear here, nothing to pretend about, and nothing to impress anyone with anything . . . it's that liberating freedom, that freedom to be authentic about myself that I cherish the most about Sajha.
The thing I like the most about Bhagat is that whatever he is, he is playing himself in his real life.
That kind of authenticty is something I dig.
