People are free to demand their right but have to be with in the limit. Instead of blaming others they have to rise themself to create a competitive society. You can give person rights, money or property, job or PM post but you cannot fill thir filthy brain with wisdom. My point is - if a "Damai" do not go to sew clothes in a "Bahun's" house, the bahun has no right to accuse damai for not turning up to sew his clothes. Since damai always goes to bahun's house and sew's cloth for the whole day for 2 kg rice, then naturally damai is making bahun superior - he can claim that you survive because I give you 2 kg rice otherwise you will go hungry. But what the damai fails to do is to realize from with in and raise the self confidence to survive without bahun's 2 kg rice. Now then, what is the role of the govt? Govt should protect the people and give the opportunity to the people who want to be independent and raise their standard. They should provide initial loan and may be also some land. But what the govt cannot do is keep giving 10,000 rupees all the time. you get something but now you have to work hard to make your destiny. People work hard everywhere. No one earns money by just talking in chiya pasal. Thats what everyone has to realize. Implication to bahun: he has to sew the clothes himself or take them to the professional people and pay RS 2000. Now he will realize how much he was benifitting from Damai. Terai problem may not be the same but I am sure it is similar. Lets assume Terai became an independent state - do you think that will bring change in the poverty level? I doubt. may be some vocalist will get the political power and the power to control the money but there is less than 1% chance it will be better than what it is now. Tthe poor and the backward community will never get chance to rise. I therefore urge all the backward community to rise regardless of their background - ke madhesi, ke kami, ke damai, ke kirat. Dont just blame the govt. govt's responsibility is to make infrastructure, the laws, the environment. I am totally against the idea it should give 2 ministers so that every dalits will be happy! Stupid idea. you have to become able person to become a minister and not just because somebody gives "dan" to you.
