I never said i support the violence. I strongly support the struggle to get reconized. Nepalis in India are foreigners. Some Nepali origins people who are indians are so minor in compare to the vast Indian numbers that it is not suprisingto see so little of them in the Army or high ranking places. However, Madeshis in Nepali are almost the half or at least 2/3 of the Nepal. They and feed Nepalis whether it is pahadis or madeshis with their fertile land. The tarai part of Nepal should be the part to get special recognization, but it's not. They are just as part of Nepal and they're Nepals as kathmandu or anyone from Kathmandu. I do not want my family to be attacked or anyone's family to be attacked. I do not want to be disrespected or steriotyped in my own country and i do not want to accept the fact that madeshis are violated in Nepal and support the people who would like to do such to madeshi people; in our Nepal, which belongs to them as well. As far as pahadis in madesh goes, well, if you have lived in the madesh then you would see that they're the richest, landlords and in power - whether it is govt, police or army. Why? cuz madeshis are discriminated in their own majority. It was like in south Africa where whites were minority and blacks were majority. where there was apathy rule and while whites were enjoyin the extereme fun of first world , blacks were living in slums, bushes and suffering hell fire in the same land.... i can't be part of such discrimination happening to my own country. I have spent lots of my time in tarai part as being a phadis. and I've seen how pahadis treat madeshis and how those poor and simple people still treat them with respect... Like i said this struggle for recognization is long over due.... let the voices be hear.. only pray and wish is everything done in non-violent way....
