Why have I stayed [in Nepal]?

As a person living in USA rightnow, my SIXTH year now, I think I have thought about 1000 times in my life whether I truly want to live here. Whenever I go home, I feel like I cheated my country. I have already stopped cursing local politicians. The country sent me to a good school, good college, and I got those chances while thousands others were deprived of basic amenities such as schools and colleges. And now, when I have to give something back, I am running away. I know you have to live where you become happy. Do I fit here? No. Heck, when I topped my class one day and got the highest mark in probability class, I wanted to jump with joy, and I had no one to share that. I missed my highschool's friends at the time. We used to go to movie together, we used to go to eat samosa chat together, and now the only thing I am left with is memory. May be I am too weak. But I definitely don't want to live a life where you don't know your apartment's neighbors, or your neighbors. I want to have a life. And in the morning, I want to go to Pashupatinath, and things like that. My country is poor, but I love every bit of it. I hope that we will be richer one day. And for us to be richer, a lot of us has to go back. A lot of us has to use our knowledge there. And yes, a lot of us has to come here also. Insulation won't make us rich, but desertion won't either.
