Dear Sayami....(I think you are Manandhar..!!) I don't agree with most of your stuffs...though partly...... Why Newars are crying everything in this situation?? I suspect...are they opportunists?? To bring issue in such an opportunity? People say that Newar ista ra Bau dusta kahile hudaina... Well why they say is I think its because Newar always care for business...so in my opinion Newar are really professionals...Like marwari who always care about their business...Neharu had once said.. dont trust these Marwaris...they are not real Indians...for money they can do any thing and nationality is nothing for them...see now Marwari are cosmopolitan...of every nationality!! I dont mind..I respect who work..... About Newars and jobs... UNDP: well I think you have heard UNDP or any UN office in Nepal.. Its quite difficult for people other than Newar to get a job there.....but I think even in newar qualified and approachless people can not get this opportunity.. Banijya Bank, National Trading: Again in those banks and tradings you will find mostly Newar and thakuris, but I think there also approachless people can not get there.....so I can not blame that a "Newar" or "Thakuri" can get work there....its always Pahunchwala...Pahunch bhayo bhane jo pani paunchha.. There are a lot of examples..you can find like this. Do you think how many Bahuns or other are there for whom its difficult to get two time food in a day and a single new cloth in a year....try to see being a human then you will know...go man...try to live in the villages...how people are living...how Kathmandu has cheated (dont object it....it was also a normal evolution that KTM developed than other) the other part....people of other part...and again...Melamchi is also needed for it !! (I dont oppose Melamchi) Few years back in New Road I was surprised to see all the shop owners are Marwadi!! Why Newars are handing over their place to Marwaris? And after few years they will hand over these houses also...and can you blame later that Marwaris took it from Newar?? No... its evolution....If in place of Marwaris there are other Parbatya..then people would cry...oh Parbatya are taking our places...Friend....you are married to a foreing girl or you have residence permit of Europe, then dont blame the countrymen how difficultly they are surviving there... Another thing....I think no one can dare to call a Newar in front by saying "Jyapu" in Kathmandu. Yes with friends one say everything...because we are uncivilized or more friendly with each other....which we have to give up... You believe what Newar people of Kathmandu say?? I have seen many old men in KTM saying...Tyo Ganeshman..ke ko Shrestha ni...tyo ta jyapu ho.... Similarly..I was in outskirt of Kathmandu to visit a Newar family...we talked about the lands surrounding... (he is Shrestha) said, this is mine...this is of Jyapu...this is of Jyapu...I was surprised..... For Terai people its only in Kathmandu that they are called Madhise...if you go outside Ktm and say Madhise no one could understood (before few years)...I think people call Dhoti also by name sometimes in the hills... Nepal ko satta bahunbadi chha?? Its only in Democracy that few Bahuns became priminister Can you tell me a single name during royal ruling history if there was a Bahun Prime-minster.....??? Is Surya bahadur, Marich man Singh Shrestha, Lokendra, Kirtinidhi Bista, Janga badr, Mohan shamsher.....etc Bahun?? Grow up man... DO something for yourself if not for country when it is time....
