Eastsidaz! I completely commend your thoughts and empathy toward this fellow nepalese' distress. The creator of this thread seems to have injected a lot of biased opinions/twisted truth in this thread as fit in the best interest of the accuser's integrity. As the article reads " .... After about 90 minutes of deliberations, the jury found Nepal guilty of second-degree rape, second-degree sex offense, third-degree sex offense, fourth-degree sex offense and second-degree assault. .... " 90 minutes to decide the fate of a human being???? this is so unbelieveable. Second-degree assault? Not being a law student/ professional I guess I don't understand that part. Any would-be-enlighteners passing by? Isn't it high time that all these Nepali Associations spread all over in the US do something regarding Nepalese having legal issues esp for the ones who seem to have a very strong case of innocence or are they just going to stick to agendas of conducting parties every weekend?
