Dear all Nepali Patriots: "Lets not argue being a madhesi or pahadi. Argue being a Nepali. " I am a Nepali of pahadi origin. I perused your frustrating sentiments though uttered in an immature style.We all Nepalese shoudnot be the one to let the divisive elements take the opportunity to play in our beloved coomon field... It is true that Madhesis in Nepal are facing discrimination in one or other way. As Nepali citizen they have the right to express their dissatisfaction.At the time the country is heading towards a peaceful inclusive democracy, is it good for some opportunist elements to carry out violent activities? Are madhesis going to be benifitted with this. Protests is part of democratic exercise, but, not the violent activity. If educated people like us start to argue in such offensive manner, what those who never saw a ray of education will do? The way, we are discriminating our frustration is neither in favor of madhesis, nor in favor of pahadis. Only those elements who are trying to create a havoc will get benifit.The communal tension is the greatest enemy in country. Hope, we have been able to settle the decade long maoist insurgency. We could do it, because it was political one. If we ignite another one in the name of madhesis and pahadis, it will be the most unfortunate in the history on Nepal, the saddest thing for both madhesis and pahadis. Communal tension is difficult to manage. Let us share our grievances in a peaceful manner. Be united ...all madhesis and pahadis..for the benifit of our country. Madhesis deserve the right to protest. But let this peace accord go peacefully. We have lots of forums to raise our demands. Lets have a strong madhesis participation in constituent assembly election...lets go in a peaceful manner.
