Nice video. I am also very proud of our Madhesh. I have a few questions to those who are advocating for free country "Madhesh", it is rather a question for clarification. (Part of it I read elsewhere being asked, so forgive me if I sound rather stale) 1. Was there a free Madhesh in the past? The video above claims , and a lot of others claim that Madhesh is a birth place of Sita and Buddha. Great. But 'this' Madhesh is a new concept brought by Prithvi Narayan's children after Nepal Ekikaran, haina ra? The only time when Lumbini and Janakpur was the same country was when Prithvi 'united' Nepal. Before that, I think they were same country when Mukunda Sen briefly owned them, but he would later carve up his countries into three parts. And of course, Mukunda Sen was yet another Pahadiya colonialist. The reason why Jwala singh is limited to Siraha and vicinity is precisely because a large chunk of Madhesh doesn't feel the way he does. For example, Chitwan doesn't care about him, nor does Makwanpur or Bardiya. Terai may have 40% of Nepal's population, but that includes shitload of Pahades. Maithili speakers, Bhojpuri speakers, Tharu speakers, individually won't exceed more than 10-15%. Those who think Hindi is common language are only partially true, what if Moslems claim that they would prefer Urdu in stead? It is easy to split hair, and kill people. Let's first think about any viability of Terai state. Sane minds will soon prevail, I am sure. Let's oppose discriminatin, but at the same time, let's oppose violence, and start making a new prosperous Nepal.
