Hi somewhereinusa, I believe you can be in Status as long as you got admission and paid. May be you can join some other college too. KAPLAN GRE/GMAT course is not academic course and doesn’t have any certain credit hours; I heard it should be 12 Credit hours for international students to be in Status.
