bahun kto seems like know lots of stuffs about origin, he only talk about bahun and chhetri. but he totally missed about magars. there are more last name match with magar and chhetri than bahun. thapa chhetri - thapa magar budhathoki chhetri = budhathoki magar kuwar chhetri = kuwar magar rokka chhetri and kokka magar khand chhetri and khand magar sen chhetri and sen magar just like every chhetri has gotra magar has gotra.. khas and magar has more similarity in many ways, specially shah dynasty marry mamako chhori just like magar does. Only after the rise of Jange and muluki ain, demise of magar started, before that if you look at the list of sardars from the time of prithivi nayaran shah to before jange there were many magar sardar. After the revolt against jange by Lakhan thapa magar, there was a state sponsored suppression against them. Many people have miss conception that since magars look more oriental they think about them differently, where the root of fact is that magars have the gotra, unlike gurungs and rais. History is only written about chhetris but never mention about relation ship about the chhetris and magars.
