What will a new Madhes look like? --- It will be like so many islands. For example, Chitwan and Makwanpur are not going to be part of any Madhesh, since all the population there are 'pahadiya'. (Sadbhabana didn't even file a candidate there). So, a new 'madhesh' is going to look like a state made up of siraha, saptari etc in the east and rupandehi and bake in the west. Like Pakistan before 1971. I sympathize with a Madhesi cause, but look at the people who raise communal issues in Nepal? For example: Bimalendra Nidhi or JP Gupta and also Padma Ratna Tuladhar who talks about communal issues after being soundly beaten by his own people in KTM. They raised communal issue only after they were defeated by their own people. Sadbabana gets 3 percent vote, and that too, this party gets divided so frequently(now don't blame pahadiya for this). The reality is: 1. Nepal's richest people are also madhesi/marwaris. 2. Nepal's smart people are also from Madhesh. Look at Engineers/Doctors. 3. Nepal's most corrupt/stupid/goondas are also, unfortunately, from Madhesh. Those who are rejected by Madhesi themselves in different elections, and those who belong to number 3 talk about 'swatantra madesh', because they have no other way to earn money or power.
