I am not much of a movie buff like our kalankistan bro, but last four months watched most of the recent movies and I tip the following: Blood Diamond, Departed and Apocalypto. I would say, Departed was one of a kind. its dialogues were tantalizing. Jack Nicholson gave another of his trademark performances. Wahlberg's and Baldwin's cameos blended in perfectly. Above all, DeCaprio was able to overshadow Matt Damon. How often can u say that? Well, perhaps you can. After watching blood diamond. Quite a thought provoking movie. But then, apocalypto was in a class of its own. So flawless, so magical, and so ruthlessly depicted. someone said it right, "Gibson is a true cinematic sadist." It was my favourite movie all hands down. Dejavu was a reminder that not all Denzel's movies are great. This one couldnt even compare to mississippi masala. Even his loyal homies were *sighing* in the theater. As for our neighbors, it seems like Rang De Basanti is everyone's choice. Another reason i have begun to believe in self rebelution rather than revolution ;). However, I think many haven't watched the controversial "water." I think it was a great movie. Likes of john abraham and lisa ray really ACTED. :)
