Himalaya Community capped off it's very successful two concerts in New York by thanking and handing out certificates last night, December 29, 2006, to all artists and volunteers at Himalaya Yak Restaurant in Jackson Heights, New York. Gratitude shown by the organizers were immense and the smiles on their faces were just as huge. Except for a few, artists were all there, from professionals to the future stars. Everyone who attended were left with a good feeling that their time and effort were well recognized by these wonderful organizers from the Himalaya Community. This volunteer, though, was left with a question, who will appreciate these organizers who spent so much time and effort, blood and sweat, in organizing these herculean tasks - from bringing artists (10) from Nepal, 1 from Minnesotta, taking care of all of them here in NY, etc. etc. etc. and then putting up the shows? Who will give them the certificates? So, fellas at Himalaya Community, job well done!
