These maobadi netas have all the characters needed to be a successful politician but they r not using their skills for good cause. we used to think prachanda was stupid to mention ISI and daud in Hisdustan times conference, but now I think it was part of their game, by that they not only gained some support from India, more important he was able to get the attention of media and that helped international community to feel his presence in political arena. They are milking govt with millions of rupees directly and indirectly thro taxes and forced collections of donations. maoists have been able to scare the shit out of all the main stream politicians except few. Pictures are evidence. just look at the pictures of gatherings of maoists and other netas, you can see all the netas with fake wide open kiss ass smile as if trying to convey not to kill him even if they go violent again. maoists are working their ass off to gain supports of the people. old people of kathmandu particularly Newars have high regards for king, and Newars are predominant uml supporter, so we can say they r already inclined to communism even if they may not support maoists. As far as earlier than malla dynasty people from kathmandu considered king as the reincarnation of GOD, which prithvi narayan shah manipulated by exchanging dagger with KUMARI and portrayed himself as the chosen one. I still believe kathmandu will be the last to give up the concept of kingship as it is against their rituals.
