Taking offense to symbolism can really be a bit tricky at times. For example, Hindus had used the swastika for ages before the Nazi party adopted it. I really don't think Hindus should drop the idea of using the swastika any more than the West should drop the idea of using the trident to mean whatever they want it to mean. Just a thought.
