I've seen something like this on "dateline" program... since he wasn't involved except on the act, he might get away... but, if i remember it right, i think the lawyer in that program also mentioned that different states have different rules... and reading the news article, i'm think GA might've the law where they can prosecute him easily even though it was just an intent... either way, i really feel very sorry for this guy as all some of u do... it'll be tough for this guy if he ends up in jail.. u know.. a foreign country and in jail... i think if he does get a good lawyer, cuz of his education and no prior records, he might be able to get out either on probation or doing a less time... With him being in jail, i don't know if his wife can get a lawyer or anything like that... if anyone finds anything where we can help, i'm sure up for that... once again, i know he did WRONG, but guys, we all make mistakes... and this is a foreign country, so we gotta help him out.
