Hey Coresoul Its always pain in ass while i try to install PHP on windows machine .. So i found either install on unix and make dual boot ..or try some bundled package that comes with Apache webserver + MySQL database Server + PEAR .. I tried to install php from Php.net and tried many ways by wasting lots of hours but ended up with nothing but frustating.... So i think its better idea to use some software package for PHP. PHP Triad is a good one...but i dont know why PHP-PEAR doesnt work with that ...SO you can either try PHP TRIAD or xampp-win32-1.5.5 which you can google and find the website....I used both of them and they are prety cool and easy to work..no need to worry about installation. ..
