U good lah, with all that singlish, suddenly i feel that this is not a nepalese forum leh hahah..(for those non-singlish speaking...pardon us!) hai...that niven, he long long time supposed to be condemn liao...they make mistake by asking him to come back and let him rule GC. I'm not sure if u were still around when there's a period of time when the Commanding Officer, Deputy CO, GM all resigned. So GC had this urgent meeting with all the sahebs discussing abt who shall be the next Commanding Officer. SPF (S'pore Police Force) give the sahebs 3 choice, 1st choice is to let the local be the CO, 2nd choice a nepali CO and 3rd to call that old man (whom already retired lah) to be back in GC. So tat time...being typical lahure loyal to the queen, they asked him (niven) to come back and rule lah (siao hor!) and that old man..feel so proud start making all those changes...now everyone suffers! 1 reason if u don't happen to know lah...all GC lahures are given Employement Pass (EP) hoina? And with that EP, they can are eligible to apply for PR...so to avoid such event from happening, he put restrictions on that....which actually does follow our immigration law lah. this is just one of the many examples lah...conclusion...GC have their own standing law which differs from the published govt law. but then rai...my two cents of words lah....u shld try lah..afterall, the govt is now relaxing the law and they are inviting more foreigners to come in. oh dhanyaabad for ur kind comment on my nepali..no lah i'm still learning them leh (painstakingly!) from the language books, listening to nepali music, radio (bfbs) and listening to other nepalis talking......sian leh....here where got nepali language course.. :( Oh I met him during our Adv Diploma level course.
