The physical disability & men of genius: I always find this aspect of the artistic output ever so intrigueing. How very ironic eh! Beethoven was deaf, and yet ended up writing scores of sonatas, concertos and symphonies - his sonatas - Moonlight Sonata, Pathetique; and the 9th symphony being my fav.
