Bittorrents are supposed to open one of the unused service ports themselves. Mine worked fine without port forwarding -- I could upload and download without a problem, under decent speed! I did get the NAT ERROR warning, which I simply ignored and carried on, till the point when I thought I might as well, and did the PortForwarding, so as to not see that Annoying message each time, and the "Connectable = No" subheading!!! I would suggest you to set '0' on upload and download both, since bandwidth is free through most of the providers (assuming you're in the US). We should also consider the fact that we all are being able to participate in the bittorent community and bag those treasures because of others' contributions!! Let's give what we take ..
