I agree with Lootekukur here. Ears are there not just to listen to everything but to also "not listen" to useless stuff. Same goes with eyes and mouth. You must be able to filter stuff. And I do not believe that it is just the Nepalis who engage in such form of "entertainment". I believe everyone does that so just don't generalize it with Nepalis only.
