Singh chairs a new united front Ram Raja Prasad Singh, who is known as the original republican rebel, has returned to active politics by assembling over a dozen regional and ethnic organizations into one single front and becoming its chairman. Singh whose Janabadi Morcha had blasted its way into national politics by exploding bombs in key areas of Kathmandu including Singha Durbar in 2042 BS (1986), has now formed New Janabadi Morcha – a front of 15 organizations – with the aim of taking initiatives for establishing federal republican states. In his new front there are various ethnic and regional organizations such as Tamuwan National Council, Kirat Workers Party, Karnali Liberation Front, Dalit Workers Front, Tharu Liberation Struggle and Kirat Indigenous Association, among others.
