I am not that knowledgeable in the history of Nepal, but so long as I know from my shallow reading that Nepal has been through series of rulers. Nepal was first ruled by Kirati monarchy then followed by Lichhawi monarchay. Later it was ruled for many years by Shah Monarchy. So it seems like there are lots of transition from face to grace. In those years monarchy was the popular type for ruling the country, but now the monarchy is shifting to another type of monarchy which is mostly ruling by Girija/Prachanda/Baburam Monarchy, shifting one more time to yet another face and grace.
