I know it has been discussed before going to Canada or Mexico for stamping visa but I am on a slightly different scenario. I would like to raise a question to anybody out there who has gone to Nepal with h1b but has been out of status in school. I was out of status while I was in college for about 2 months before it was re-instated due to not renewing my I-20 on time. After college, I got a job and they sponsored my h1b. I want to travel to Nepal on Jan. but I am scared if I should go to Canada or Mexico or directly go to Nepal for Visa stamping because I was out of status in college and I heard lot of people talking about don't bother to apply or leave US if you were out of status in college. Guys, can anyone help me here? If this is the case then I should only go to Nepal when I want to leave everything here and forget about coming back? Please help.
