Amazing... congratulations for bagging AusAid scholarship . i just wanted to let you know that you are not eligible to apply for PR in Australia at least for two years after finishing your degree. As per ausaid rule you have to come back to nepal and work for two years then only you are eligible. I am sure you know it coz its there in the booklet you are given after getting the scholarship. As per my experiance....i had a great time in Australia. Melbourne Uni's faculty are great, very friendly people. I am sure you'll love it. For work, go directly to international student office or you can contact Ausaid laison officer. Contact them as soon as possible . you'll have better chances to get work within Uni. If you get a good grade and have good repo with Prof. you can get to tutor undergrad student...pay is great and you 'll have a heck of a experience. when i was in Uni Melb there were almost 22 nepali student most of them had Ausaid scholarship...some had worldbank scholarship......and we had a great time. Don't worry about friends you'll have plenty of and aussie people are really interested in different culture and tradition. AND chicks are hot ....i almost changed into lesbian ;0P
