OK Mr. Sapper, sorry for the delay. I was away for the Thanks Giving holiday. The Coast Guard is also one of the great branches of the military. The Coast Guard works under the department of transportation during peace time. They do search and rescue operations around the coast of the americas. They also do a lot of operations to stop drug trafficking. During war time they do work along side with the Navy and other branches. Well, thats how much I know.
