Bhunte, All the major tributaries of Mahakali -- Gori, Chamalliya, Koshi, etc are further south. With most of the water being diverted to Sharada irrigation canal on the Indian side, I have never seen the full Mahakali in the Terai. Raute, The bazaar is bit spread out on the Nepali side with houses further up and down the river. On the Indian side much of the land is occupied by the Indian army, therefore the remaining bazaar is congested.
