Dilip, According to the US law, if you have any form of sex - consentual or not - with anyone under the age of 18, you are committing statutory rape. This is true according to Nepal's legal system too. I understand, our Nepali society has the tradition of child marriage, which, in my opinion, should be abolished. While a girl of 16 might be physically ready for intimate physical relationship, she would not be mentally developed enough. That is the reason why most marriages happen in the 20's. As I said earlier in other thread, I am not here to judge people and tell them what is wrong and what is right. But if you are a mature adult and you have sexual intercourse with anyone under 18, you are committing a felony by law. Hence, you should be fully prosecuted. That is the fact, not my opinion.
