well, i guess the abhorrence came out of sheer ignorance or failure (denial) in our part to accept the facts. india are racing to the top of the world. within the last few years, their economy has sky rocketted in terms of prosperity. we, nepalese, are left behind and we have only ourselves to blame! we imitate western culture, the so-called hip culture and others infulence our society first then others. we wear trendy clothes, spend 6000 rupees for a pair of shoes when we hardly know how much sweat one has to put in to earn a penny. in other words, we have a habit to take things for granted. we think terai is a part of india/bihar and that madhesis are marsya, madise, dhoti and so on. we don't know where we belong to. we have a king in our nation who is revered as a demi god, and we think we all are kings in our own rights! there are good people and there are moderate to bad people in every society. just because some indians treat nepali as slaves (bahadurs) dont make the whole community bad. we need to come out of this prejudice and do something on our own which can leave mark in the world, let alone india. we've got to believe in our ability and suppress our ego for the betterment. if you hate india, direct your hatred towards a positive direction to achieve something and prove to them. don't just hate someone for the sake of hating! LooTe we've got to learn to respect ourselves and stop copying others. we have enough reasons to be proud of if we work hard to reach the pinnacle.
