Before Boost became the secret of their energy......Sachin-kapil duo, i think, there was an era where india used to beat pakistan more often. One of the greatest blunder KAPIL dev might regret till today, when he gloatingly said in Sharjah that they needed more competition from the Pakis. I didn't know what cricket meant then or how pakistan got inspired by kapil's blunder, but since then the stats speak for themselves between india and pakis. Though the india might not have lost to pakis in world cup, the overall win ratio between pakistan and india is 2:1. I don't know who are the real scarecrows, but i can definitely tell you one of those day night matches, the faces of indian batsmen going pale facing the troika of waqar, wasim and shoib akhtar :). if it were not for some egomaniacs and the volatile pakistan board and politics, pakistan would be a lil more consistent.....but without their mercurial temperament, they might lose the appeal as well.
