I am a so called Bahun,man from hilly place from remote Dhading, where the people are mainly ghale, gurung, sudras, and few bahun/chettri throw-ins. My parents are religiously bahun. I was brought up in Kathmandu along with newars from valley. Kathmandu is a cosmopolitan city now. My bhinaju and bhauju both are newars. Another vinaju is from kathmandu suu-urbans (kaath). I studied in Nepalgunj, a typical madhesh. My wife is a madhesi from sarlahi. She belongs to "teli" tribe. I dont understand ang got any diffrence being with people from remote dhading or valley or madesh. They all are the same. They got their own culture. I used to go to Dhading to clebrate maghe sakranti, and dashai. I used to stay in kathmandu for all other festival. I used to go to sarlahi for Chaat and holi. I like the culture from everywhere. I am now in England and celebrate christmas and bonfire day with the whites. I dont feel any diffrence. Lets stop the cry of race. We all are the same. Dont even think of dividing Nepal into Kiratland or Madhesland. We all want united Nepal. If possible bring Sikkim and Darjeeling back to Nepal. JAYA NEPAL
