Nepal economics doesn’t make sense. Real Estate price is not supported by any fundamentals. It needs serious correction. Let’s take an example – you want 1 ropani in nice area and single family house. Its like 3000+sqft home in US with excellent lot. With 5lakh/ana and 30lakh home it cost around 120 lakh. You can easily afford similar house in US for US$180,000 e.g Texas or Midwest. Do you think you will get same security, electricity, health, education, shopping and carrier benefits in Nepal as in Texas? I would say, house in Nepal with at least 10ana should not be more then 30 lakh. It will be like Japan someday where price of house went down to -80%. Don’t take me wrong. I love my country but the price its ridicules. Invest wisely.
