Hey folks, Need suggestions and advices. My brother has a 1993 ford neon old rusted car. He's been fixing that car every two weeks with maintenaince fee of $300 or more. It already costs him $1500 which is way more than his purchase price i.e. $500. Now once again, its broke. So, the question is, what he should do, Go for other used car, or fix the old one? Since taking consideration of possiblity of debt on buying other used car from companies, it might not be decent idea. On the other hand fixing the old car might be also worthless as it might happen again coz old cars are famous for making NAPA, MUFFLER MAN rich. Suggestions please. Any suggestion expert out there.
